Key Acknowledgements

The points an applicant must actively understand before submitting and paying.

Version 2026-09-05-v4DARUL FALAH CIC · 14867627Published 5 September 2026

Before submitting, I understand that:

  1. My contributions enter a communal fund and do not create a personal account, savings balance or ownership share.
  2. Support is discretionary. A request may result in no grant or a grant of any amount up to the applicable ceiling.
  3. The ordinary maximum considered is £7,000, subject to lower child ceilings and the £17,000 aggregate catastrophic Family ceiling.
  4. Membership becomes active when an accepted application’s initial contribution clears. An event within the first 45 days receives enhanced human review and may require additional evidence; this does not create entitlement.
  5. I have seen the first-year, renewal and community-event amounts and the three-event rolling annual cap.
  6. Darul Falah may verify identity, relationships, death evidence, invoices, providers, other assistance and payment status.
  7. Deliberate deception, forgery, impersonation or collusion may lead to refusal, termination, recovery and lawful reporting. Innocent mistakes may normally be corrected.
  8. Darul Falah normally pays a verified funeral provider directly and will not pay more than verified eligible costs.
  9. The three-person process separates case review, decision and finance release; no one person handles the whole grant alone.
  10. The Privacy Notice explains use of religious-belief, health, bereavement, child and payment-related information.
  11. I can correct information, cancel future participation, request reconsideration, complain and exercise applicable legal rights.
  12. Submitting the form does not itself confirm acceptance or payment. A straightforward application may be accepted automatically; an unclear or failed check goes to human review before payment is offered.
  13. I confirm that the application is accurate and is not being submitted after a death has already occurred.
