The Shahada is the testimony that none is worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad ﷺ is His Messenger. It is spoken with understanding, belief and sincere intention.
The declaration of faith
Ash-hadu an la ilaha illa Allah, wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan rasul Allah. This means: I bear witness that none is worthy of worship except Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.

Do I need witnesses to become Muslim?
A person enters Islam through sincere belief and the declaration of faith. Contact the centre if you would like local guidance or community support.
Can I ask questions before making the Shahada?
Yes. You are welcome to ask questions and learn at your own pace without pressure.
Does Darul Falah issue Shahada certificates?
